WHAT IS A/AN SENIOR ACCOUNTANT Our awesome client, a leading Merchandising company based in US is looking for a/an Senior Accountant to be part of their
finance and accounting team. WHAT WILL BE YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Prepare complex accounting analysis with limited direction Review non-standard accounting transactions to ensure GAAP compliance Help refine company accounting policies and create or update Standard Operating procedures Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and ensure reconciling items are resolved Prepare a journal entries. Assist with the design, implementation and monitoring of
internal controls Provide supports for audit requests. Completes special projects as assigned Assist other teams as necessary to assure timely accounting processes. Provide commentaries to accounts assigned Help administer blackline tool WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR Bachelor's degree in Accounting Required, CPA strongly desired 5+ years accounting experience with progressively increased responsibility and complexity (preferably audit experience in public accounting) Strong technical accounting skills. Ability to research accounting issues using appropriate guidance, recommend appropriate accounting in accordance with US GAAP Experience with Oracle EBS preferred or similar major ERP system Strong Microsoft Office Excel skills Exposure to blackline as user and administrator Fixed Asset accounting experience a plus Revenue accounting experience a plus W illing to work on site in Ortigas and to be assigned on Night Shift Schedule.
