ROLE SUMMARY
Our client is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team. This role is responsible for providing bookkeeping support, conducting regular card reconciliation, preparing financial reports, assisting with tax filing, and engaging with customers.
SCHEDULE: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Pacific Standard Time (1:00 AM - 10:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays
POSITION TYPE: Full Time
WORK ARRANGEMENT: Remote
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Onboard and offboard bookkeeping customers
Manage the day-to-day bookkeeping tasks in QuickBooks and any other tax customers' accounting software
Conduct monthly bank and credit card reconciliation
Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting as applicable according to the customers' engagement and following financial reporting templates
Set up and maintain the chart of account structures for customers
Manage customers' correspondence in all matters related to bookkeeping
Maintain and check the customer database
Work and coordinate with the tax team for bookkeeping completion of customers' tax filing
QUALIFICATIONS
A bachelor's degree in Accountancy
At least 2 years of experience in the related field (technology industry is preferable)
Exposure to US bookkeeping
Proficient in the Google App platform and Microsoft Office applications, with a high level of expertise in Excel and Google Spreadsheets
Proficient in using QuickBooks Online
Experience in using other accounting software such as Bench, Zoho, Kick, etc., and tax software such as UltraTax and GoSystem is a plus
Experience in payroll and background in US tax is a plus
High level of English communication skills and is a quick learner
Analytical skills with particular attention to detail
Aptitude in data management, analytics, reporting preparation
Ability to function in an autonomous environment-independent worker, self-directed
