Roles and Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the US Tax Accountant are to prepare and review tax returns (personal, corporate, fiduciary, and partnerships), prepare adjusting journal entries for the purpose of business performance analysis and conversion from book to tax basis, prepare and review tax projections and periodic review of year-end tax planning strategies, train junior team members, communicate tax projections and planning strategies to clients, and train clients' accounting personnel in use of accounting policies and procedures.
The US Tax Accountant is expected to perform periodic recording of fixed assets utilizing proper asset classification and depreciation, perform and review tax research projects and provide recommendations to management and staff, perform as a resource in designated areas for tax questions, perform formal training sessions for team members, and prepare periodic review of internal processes for tax preparation and tax planning strategies for the purposes of quality control and efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications
CPA with USA accounting experience
A Successful Candidate must have
Excellent English written & spoken skills
Outgoing personality and organizational skills
Knowledge of GAAP and tax basis
Willingness to work mid shift 2pm-11pm
Proficient with
XERO
MYOB
Quickbooks
Experience Advantage
Experience with Thomson Reuters UltraTax CS
Preparation of compilation and reviewed financial statements, inclusive of accompanying footnotes
