SAFETY / POLLUTION CONTROL OFFICER
 
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Environmental/Health/Safety) or equivalent.
At least 3 years experience in the same field specializing in Environmental, Safety and Health.
Required Skill(s): Planning, Risk Management, Implementation, Leadership, Analytical
With 40 hours (BOSH) Basic Occupational Safety and Health or (COSH) Construction Safety Training and (PCO) Pollution Control Officer Training
DOLE Certified Safety practitioner and DOE accredited is an advantage
Knowledgeable in Occupational Health and Safety Act, Workplace Safety and Environment Protection Act
Has a background in emergency planning and development of Risk Management Policies
Responsible for the facility's compliance to environmental laws, ordinances, rules and regulations
Draft policies and procedures pertaining to construction project site safety procedures and environmental compliance
Has excellent communication skills both written and verbal forms in order to establish effective relationship.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to think and act fast.
Strong sense of urgency and work ethic.
Strong initiative, disciplined and flexible.
Resourceful and focuses on the solution rather than the problem.
Can tolerate working under ambiguous circumstances and sometimes difficult situations.
Willing to be assigned in West Cebu Industrial Park-Special Economic Zone, Arpili, Balamban, Cebu.
