QUALITY ASSURANCE ASSISTANT
 
Job Responsibilities:
Test Planning: Collaborating with project managers, business analysts, and developers to understand software requirements and define test objectives and strategies.
Test Case Creation: Designing and documenting test cases, test scenarios, and test data based on software requirements and specifications.
Test Execution: Performing manual and automated tests to ensure software meets quality standards. This involves executing test cases, logging defects, and verifying bug fixes.
Defect Tracking: Managing defect tracking systems to report and track software issues, working closely with developers to investigate and resolve bugs.
Test Documentation: Creating and maintaining test plans, test scripts, test reports, and other relevant documentation to provide comprehensive test coverage and ensure traceability.
Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and suggesting best practices to enhance overall software quality and testing efficiency.
Collaboration: Working closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, and project managers, to ensure effective communication and cooperation throughout the software development lifecycle.
Job Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. With equivalent experience or relevant certifications is a plus but not required.
A strong understanding of software development processes and methodologies, as well as proficiency in programming languages and software testing tools. Knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools can be an advantage.
Testing Knowledge: Familiarity with different types of testing such as functional testing, regression testing, performance testing, and usability testing is important.
Attention to Details to identify bugs, inconsistencies, and potential issues in software applications.
Strong analytical skills
