JOB SUMMARY
 
The PMO / Construction Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and completion within the construction sector. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, while maintaining quality and safety standards. The manager will coordinate with multiple stakeholders, supervise construction operations, and optimize project workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
 
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Management: Develops project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies to ensure smooth execution.
Construction Oversight: Supervises on-site operations, ensuring adherence to project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Budget & Cost Control: Monitors project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-saving measures.
Risk Management: Identifies potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
Team Coordination: Leads project teams, including engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring collaboration and efficiency.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintains clear and transparent communication with clients, vendors, and internal departments regarding project status and updates.
Compliance & Safety: Ensures compliance with local building codes, industry standards, and workplace safety regulations.
Progress Monitoring: Tracks project milestones, evaluate performance metrics, and implement process improvements as necessary.
Resource Allocation: Optimizes workforce and material distribution to meet project deadlines and quality expectations.
Reporting & Documentation: Prepares and present progress reports, financial summaries, and operational insights to senior management.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS
 
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
At least ten to fifteen (10 to 15) years of experience in project monitoring, coordination, or management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
Experience in construction, manufacturing, or business operations projects.
Knowledge of financial management in project execution.
