JUNIOR STYLIST
 
Location of the job in the Organization: Operations Department and will be directly under the Office of the following:
Senior Stylist
Operations Manager
Salon Director
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
Greet clients upon endorsement by the Director of First Impressions, make eye contact and show genuine interest in their needs.
Assist Chief Master of Style and/or Master of Style in cutting, trimming, shaping hair or hair pieces based on client's instructions, hair type and facial features, using clippers, scissors, trimmers and razors.
Assist Chief Master of Style and/or Master of Style in shaving, trimming and shaping beards and mustaches.
Assist Chief Master of Style and/or Master of Style in bleaching, applying hair dye, color or tinting hair using applicator or brush.
Assist Chief Master of Style and/or Master of Style in applying shampoo, rinsing, conditioning and drying hair and scalp or pieces of hair with water, liquid soap or other solutions.
Assist Chief Master of Style and/or Master of Style in providing massage and treating scalp for hygienic and remedial purposes.
Perform hair treatments to clients based on salon approved standards
Ensures services rendered or performed to clients are within salon standards and clients are 100% satisfied without any complaints.
Inform clients about new services, programs and discounts.
Cross-sell services and products when appropriate.
Keep work stations clean and sanitize salon tools such as scissors and combs.

Job Qualification Standards:
Graduate of High School;
At least (1) year experience as Assistant or Junior Stylist;
Good oral and written communication skills;
Works well with others
Job Authority and Accountability: Work orders, authority and instructions are received from the Senior Stylist.
 
Working Condition: Works 100% in the salon.
