AUDITOR - TEXTILE
As an Auditor, you will be responsible for initiating and conducting on-site audit activities following the CU audit scheme and standard. Process documents review, preparation,
distribution of audit findings through an audit report. The position requires strong
communication. Applicants must have good knowledge of the textile industry.
An auditor is authorized for taking samples and conducting assessments.

Tasks and responsibilities
• Planning and preparation of assessments, execution of assessments, and providing a
report with findings as to the conformity with all the requirements of ISO 19011
requirements.
• Initiating the assessment and conducts document review
• Prepare and conduct on-site assessment activities and assessment follow up
• Prepare, approving, and distributing the assessment report
• Assistance with the handling of claims and appeals • Coordinate with the certifier on a regular basis
• Maintaining a good relationship with the clients and informing the management of
the opportunities & risks in the market
• Maintaining up to date files of all quality policies, procedures, working, instructions
and documentation issued by CUC
• Keeping abreast of developments, issues, and legislative changes pertaining to the
sectors in which assessments are carried out
Requirements
• College graduate in any relevant course in
fashion/textile/recycling/chemical/environmental management specialization
• Four years of relevant professional experience in certification/auditing body, textile
factory, recycling factory, QMS
• IRCA recognized lead auditor course ISO 9001/ ISO 14001/ ISO 45001 or a recognized
course for other certification systems (like FSC) which include 19011 principles
• Knowledge of the relevant Textile Standards (GOTS (Global Organic Textile
Standard)/ OCS(Organic Content Standard)/ CCS (Content Claim Standard)/
RCS(Recycled Claim Standard)/ GRS) would be an added advantage
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Knowledge of assessment principles, practices, and techniques
• Effective and professional communication skills
• Note-taking and report-writing skills
• Presentation skills
• Interviewing skills
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Willingness to travel across the country
