Our parent company in Europe, originated in the Swiss watch industry more than 120 years ago producing micro-mechanical, watch components. We continuously evolved and now operate in the high-tech area of micro electromagnetic components used in micro-motors, medical devices, hearing aids sensors and various

We are looking for the following position:
An experienced QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER for our MEPZ, Cebu site.
The successful candidate
Based on company standard guidelines, he/she will be responsible in developing, writing, implementing and managing the Quality Management System (QMS), in accordance with ISO 9001 standard (and may be integrating specific customer requirements)
Guarantees the adequacy of the production process (production and control), in order to realize products in conformity to given customer specifications
Coordinates new production process start-up (process transferring from other group sites and/or new process setting).
Acknowledges, understands and implements the Control Plan (work instruction, material Incoming instruction and specification, process control instruction, registration forms Flow Chart, Technical Instruction and Specifications, registration forms), training properly the operators/technician, monitoring the process performance (efficiency, scraps rate), especially in ramp-up phase.
Coordinating the activities, launched by Headquarter's New Product Development Team, aimed to validate the production process before mass production: new machines validation (test campaign, structured data collection), performing Measurement System Analysis (MSA), process capabilities studies (Cp, Cpk).
Takes a leadership role in organizing and centralizing collection of production quality data and statistics in collaboration with Production and Process Engineering.
Drives and supports quality initiatives designed to attain ISO-9001 certification, and other related international certification requirements
Performs internal QMS audit with consequent follow up of the possible corrective actions.
Prepares and presents to HQ regular reporting of reject rates including (detail of significant issues) as appropriate by product line.
To be considered for this role:
School Education: University/Bachelor's Degree (Engineering, Physical Sciences or any equivalent in Technical discipline)
Specialization / Expertise
Experience in micro-electronics, coil winding, micro-coil winding, electro-magnetic is a plus
Specific Training about ISO 9001 standards.
Possess main Quality System operative tools and methodologies such as: 8D report, statistical analysis (distributions, Cp, Cpk, AQL sampling plan), Control Plan structure, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis), MSA (Measurement System Analysis)
Experience
At least 5-8 years proven Quality Assurance managerial work experience in manufacturing organization performing design production process (automotive or medical is preferred but not necessary)
Languages: Good communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English.
