We are currently hiring for the following positions for our MEPZ 1, Cebu site.
Experienced Q.A. ENGINEER
The successful candidate
Supervises Incoming Materials Inspection process and the Measurements System and Instruments activities
Supervises operatively the Non Conformities (internal and from third parties)
Supports New Product Development team to ensure successful transition of products and process from design to production
Supervises the Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and Internal Auditing
Handles periodical calibration of production testing equipment and tools (internal and external, at qualified laboratories): defining required accuracy, carrying out the internal calibration, interfacing with external laboratories for the calibration of primary instrument or instruments that technically can not be calibrated internally.
Performs Measurement System Analysis (MSA) studies: in collaboration with New Product Development team assessing, through R&R tecniques, the consistancy of the measuring method with reference to customer requirements.
Responsoble for the Non Conformities from customer claims: receving, classifying, ensuring (in collaboration with Technical, Production, Process Development area) that effective root cause analysis is conducted, carrying out reports, tracking implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
In addition, the Internal Non Conformities: disposition of non conform materials ensuring (in collaboration with Technical, Production, Process Development area) that effective root cause analysis is conducted, tracking implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
Supports the QA Manager in issuing and following up action plans and improvement plans deriving from third prties (certification bodies, customers) QMS audit
Supports New Product Development Team for carrying out process risk analysis, calculation, mitigation (such as FMEA)
Supporting New Product Development Team for carryig out process capabilities studies (Cp, Cpk calculation and analysis)
Performs internal QMS audit with consequent follow up of the possible corrective actions
To be considered for this role:
School Education: Bachelor's degree in an appropriate technical discipline, eg., Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or equivalents
Specialization / Expertise
Specific Training about ISO 9001 standards.
Good working knowledge of manufacturing analytical tools such as 6 Sigma, QC Tools. FMEA, SPC, APQP, etc.
Experience in Manufacturing Organization, preferably the areas of Engineering and Production/Operations
A Registered Electrical Engineer is a PLUS
Experience
Minimum 4 years related experience, at least 2 years of which in a manufacturing particularly in QA and/or Engineering
Languages: Good communication skills, fluent in both written and spoken English.
