PRODUCTION PLANNER AND INVENTORY CONTROLLER STAFF
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the accurate control, monitoring and replenishment of made to stocks item and inter plant orders as well as ensuring its availability. Plan and schedule production of mattress/portables foam blocks and cutting items in compliance with established manufacturing standard process and lead time.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze, control and ensure constant tracking of items movement.
Classify what SKU's are made to stock (MTS) and what are to made to order (MTO) based on inventory movement.
Responsible for conducting timely replenishment of stocks based on established ROP standards.
Analyze and forecast demand using F1 provided by supply chain management.
Coordinate job order transaction and planned production with co-material controller, production planner, purchaser, production supervisor and other plants in-charge. Resolve any conflicts that may arise.
Coordinate with warehouse in-charge for incoming delivered items, transfer, and other related activities.
Conduct cycle count based on agreed schedule to verify records of inventory (stockard and system) versus physical count.
Determine corrective and preventive actions to solve recurring problems of warehouse inventories.
Responsible for planning and checking of materials deem for production of foam blocks and cutting items.
Plans and manages production schedules to meet customer delivery requirements and best utilize the company's productive capacity.
Analyzes sales order releases with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
Coordinate with all supply chains (Customer Service, Production, Warehouse and Delivery) about schedules, changes, and improvements in planning activities.
Review and determine defined work specifications including detailed instructions, drawings, bill of materials, references, inspection requirements and other related matters.
Monitor, analyze and report performance of planned production in coordination with Production Supervisors.
Ensure that targets set by the department are controlled, monitored, met, analyzed and acted upon if not attained.
Prepare weekly and monthly reports as required by the department head.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Industrial engineering degree/equivalent knowledge and shares diverse engineering experiences
With at least 1-2 years experience in manufacturing and production planning
Knowledge in Material Planning and control in a manufacturing firm.
Demonstrates flexibility and resilience
Has knowledge in SAP
Keen Observer/Mind.
Strong Leadership/Personality.
Good Communication Skills.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Analytical and conceptual thinking
