Job Brief
 
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to produce scalable enterprise software solutions. You'll be part of a cross-functional team that's responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment.
 
Your Role
 
We are seeking a skilled full-stack developer to be responsible for maintaining and building scalable enterprise software products. You will be working alongside a team of other experienced developers in creating, maintaining, and updating content and structure.
 
You will be expected to solve tough technical challenges in a high energy, rapid paced, startup environment, working alongside experienced industry leaders and with a highly collaborative team. You will design, implement, test, and deploy new web interfaces, as well as help maintain and continue building our existing product and website.
 
As a Full Stack Developer, you should be comfortable around both front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility.

Our Stack:
Front-end: JS (javascript), HTML, CSS, SCSS, Gulp, Cypress (for testing)
Back-end: JS (javascript), Node.js with Express.js, MySQL
NOTE: We will NOT be hiring any Java developers; please do not apply.
 
Responsibilities
Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
Design client-side and server-side architecture
Build the front-end of applications through appealing visual design
Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
Write effective APIs
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software
Create security and data protection settings
Build features and applications with a mobile responsive design
Write technical documentation
Work with QA and product design / project management teams to improve software
Requirements
Minimum 5 years Full Stack Developer work experience
Experience developing desktop and mobile applications
Experience working with enterprise web-based applications
Familiarity with company tech stack
Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries (e.g. HTML/ CSS, JavaScript)
Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g. Javascript, Express.js) and JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Node.js)
Familiarity with databases (e.g. MySQL) and UI/UX design
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Great attention to detail
Organizational skills
An analytical mind
Degree in Computer Science or other relevant field (or equivalent work experience)
Bonuses
If you have previous experience working in smaller, start-up style teams, or experience working on web-based enterprise apps, that's a bonus.
