ELECTRICAL & INSTRUMENTATION TECHNICIAN II
 
JOB DETAILS:
Plans and sets the goals and priorities of the section in consonance with the overall strategy of the Maintenance Supervisor. Communicates these plans to the staff to achieve buy in.
Performs duties as indicated in RA 7920 known as Electrical Engineering Law
Establishes and oversees the implementation of the preventive maintenance system of substation transformers, switchgear, motor control center, lighting and power system.
Provides production support in terms of checkup, testing, calibration, repair and maintenance of all electrical instruments & devices deployed in the line.
Oversees execution of maintenance activities to ascertain quality, efficiency and timeliness. Ensures the required data management system structure and data encoding for manual database are consistently done and updated.
Sees to it that critical spares inventory for instrumentation & electrical requirements are always maintained.
QUALIFICATIONS:
A registered electrical engineer.
3 - 5 years of extensive related experience in electrical/instrumentation works in an industrial plant
1 - 2 years in foreman capacity of electrical/instrumentation maintenance
Skill in the use of computer particularly in MS Office applications
Practical knowledge in:
Electrical Engineering Law (RA 7920)
Substation preventive maintenance
Protective relaying
Pneumatic/Electro-pneumatic equipment
Electrical and electronic monitoring instruments
PLC and SCADA
Ability to read and understand system diagrams and symbols
Ability to design electro-pneumatic and electrical diagram
Good verbal and written communication skills.
