BUILDING FACILITIES ENGINEER
 
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for leading the projects on facilities such as HVAC's, AHU's, Fire protection & machine installations and ensuring reliability of plant assets, productivity improvement , loss elimination initiatives, and supporting improvement activities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Implements facility maintenance activities and fabrication works.
Create design requirement for facility improvement in reference to production, safety and health.
Handles assigned facilities improvement projects (Conceptualization, Proposals, Implementation Monitoring)
Monitoring of assigned Plant improvement project database updating and monitoring.
Consolidates budget forecast of Plant Improvement Projects.
Organizes and assigns work, sets priorities, and follow-up to ensure coordination and completion of assigned work
Develops and administers a facilities maintenance and project schedule for buildings and grounds.
Improves function and reliability of facility systems and associated equipment by studying performance results, identifying, recommending, and implementing changes, expansions, and additions.
Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures, complying with legal codes and regulations.
Plans, organizes, coordinates, assigns direction, provides training and work reviews of assigned staff and outside contractors.
Identify technical training requirements and skills improvement proposals.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Must be a PRC registered engineer or with an equivalent certification and experience.
At least 3 years experience Electro-Mechanical machineries and civil design for warehouse facilities and offices.
Knowledge of Civil design for warehouse facilities and offices.
Must have a passion for driving excellence, detail, effective verbal and written communication skills, listening skills.
Ability to lead the team
Ability to adapt and lead to changes in roles and business environment, innovation, and streamline processes.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and verbal form.
Must be attentive to details and have excellent organizational skills.
Exposure to Maintenance industry standards (e.g. IEEE, IEC, ANSI, HI, ISO, etc.) would be an advantage
