Our ACCOUNTING ASSOCIATE will be assigned engagements and projects to handle. Key aspects of this role include the following:
Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly closing processes.
Compiling, maintaining, and preparing financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Preparing monthly tax returns and BIR reports
Preparing monthly journal entries to the books of accounts
Liaising with the firm's clients on matters related to tax
Meeting internal timelines and reportorial deadlines
Assisting supervisory and executive personnel with BIR notices and tax audits.
Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with audits.
Computing, preparing, and processing payroll and last pays, and generating pay slips
Maintaining organized records of correspondence and documents on the assigned client engagements and projects
Keeping deliverables and reports updated
Providing responsive customer service through courteous and prompt feedback and open communication lines
Fieldwork and representing the firm in monthly meetings
If you hold a degree in BSA, BSBA, or BSMA, or have completed Accounting units in fields like Accounting Technology, Entrepreneurship, Banking and Finance, or Industrial Engineering, and are attentive, mindful, and responsive to customers and deadlines; can communicate well and think independently; are efficient with Office applications and Google workspace tools (Gdrive, Sheets, Docs, Forms, etc), adept to technology such as applications and software; are creative, trustworthy, highly organized, a team player, and possess a strong work ethic, JOIN OUR TEAM!
Relevant experience is also a plus.
