DRAFTSMAN
 
Job Description:
To make the Full-Sized Drawings and other drawings needed by the Design, Sample Making and the Production Department
To make box drawings with Packaging Standards and Requirements that the Marketing Department may need. Packaging standards will be given.
To provide the Cutting Lists needed by the Costing Department
To analyze and give ideas and suggestions for material and construction of all designs and processes from the Product Development Stage to the Production Stage
To assist the Marketing Department with Item tests, Drop Tests, taking photos and other possible requirements
To do first production checking to make sure drawing and standards are practiced during production or volume order
Requirements / Qualifications:
Must be knowledgeable in AutoCAD
Must have experience in furniture industry or similar industry
Must be looking for long term job position
Interest in design, construction and furniture 
Must know how to take measurement correctly
Must work well in a team
Willing to learn and open minded
Willing to be trained and learn standards of company and worldwide buyers
Willing to work overtime and work on Saturdays
Has skills in creative thinking for problem solving 
Knowledge of 3D, SketchUp and Photoshop is a plus.
