CONSTRUCTION MANAGER FOR COSTA MIRA PANGLAO, BOHOL PROJECT
 
JOB SUMMARY:
 
Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, controlling and evaluating construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.
 
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversees and directs construction operations.
Ensures that projects are delivered on time and on budget by setting benchmarks, agreeing budgets and monitoring projects.
Reviews the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
Oversees all onsite and offsite construction to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
Checks design documents with architects, surveyors and engineers.
Promotes and maintains health and safety, including site inspections to ensure safety rules are being followed.
Maintains regular communication and attend meetings with clients and their representatives to inform them of progress on the project, i.e. stakeholders and management.
Communicates with consultants, subcontractors, Project Site Engineers, Quantity Surveyors, Design Team and others involved in the project.
Interprets and explains plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers and clients, representing the owner or developer.
Prepares contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
Studies plans and specifications to determine appropriate construction methodologies and procedures.
Confers with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.
Selects, contracts, and oversees workers who completed specific pieces of the project, such as painting or plumbing.
Develops and implements quality control programs.
Evaluates construction methods and determine cost-effectiveness of plans using modern technological methods.
Takes actions to deal with results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site.
Responsible for project running cost monitoring; progress billings; change orders; site discipline; manpower and equipment loading; project site policies; controls overtime works; proper material and equipment storage and utilization.
Physical Presence in all PROJECT SITE as needed.
Qualifications:
Must a Graduate of Civil Engineer
Must have a PRC Civil Engineer License
At least 10 years work related experience as Construction Manager.
