ACCOUNTS EXECUTIVE
 
Job Summary:
 
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Accounts Executive to manage and grow assigned client accounts within our logistics and freight forwarding business. The role is responsible for generating sales, maintaining strong client relationships, preparing quotations, and coordinating closely with internal teams to ensure excellent service delivery and revenue growth.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and develop relationships with existing and new clients
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve sales targets
Prepare quotations, proposals, and service offerings for customers
Coordinate with Operations, Pricing, and Customer Service teams to ensure smooth shipment execution
Handle client inquiries related to rates, services, and shipment status
Monitor account performance and support upselling or cross-selling of logistics services
Assist in gathering sales data and preparing basic sales reports as required
Participate in sales meetings, client visits, and business development activities
Ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues or concerns
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles
Experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain is an advantage
Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
Understanding of freight forwarding services (Air, Sea, Land; FCL/LCL; Incoterms) is a plus
Goal-oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision
