Job Summary
We are looking for a Town Planning Researcher who will work closely with the Planning & Acquisition Team. The role will be responsible for the drafting of Town Planning drawings using AutoCAD, and the preparation of other relevant Planning Documents for Planning Applications in the UK.
To be successful in this position, you should have solid experience in 2D Drafting, 3D Modelling, and Document preparation. He/she will demonstrate impeccable attention to detail and have the eagerness to learn. Also, a thorough understanding of Urban/ Town Planning & Architectural design principles is preferred.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Drafting and Preparation of Architectural and Urban/Town Planning Drawings & Documents
Design Conceptualization using 3D Modelling
To do research and prepare relevant planning reports
Other ad hoc duties under Planning
Skillset
Proficient in AutoCAD and Sketchup required
Proficient in Microsoft Office. Required
Familiar with Google Drive
Experienced using Rendering Software (Lumion, Vray, etc)
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
BS Degree in Architecture, Urban/ Town Planning, or a related technical field
Licensed Architect would be an advantage
With at least 5 years of Experience as Town Planning Designer
Ability to do research and prepare relevant planning reports- Ability to write and speak in English
Familiarity with UK building codes and regulations is an advantage, but not required
