As part of an agile system team, you will be responsible for implementing the CIS Benchmark security recommendations on our Unix operating system (Red Hat / CentOs). Technical Stack RED HAT | CENTOS | PUPPET | ANSIBLE | PYTHON | GIT | IDM What will be your day-to-day work You will focus on implementing the CIS Benchmark recommended operating system hardening on the Unix operating system. Once you begin working on the project, your day-to-day job will be to define the best strategy for implementing the remediation. This will require you to work closely with our vulnerability management team who will assist you. Once the analysis is complete, you will work with the Unix team to implement the security remediation. During this process, you will become familiar with how we manage the infrastructure of our 3,500 servers. Puppet and Ansible are our primary technologies for automation and configuration management. The entire project will be done in two parts: we will start by working on the new operating system, and then apply our tested and implemented remediation to our old environment. If you enjoy digging into security documentation and understanding deep system configuration, this position is for you. In addition to your day-to-day duties, you will have the opportunity to learn more about Ansible and Unix administration in general. We also have a Puppet infrastructure with a very interesting and industrial implementation. This will allow you to improve your knowledge on how to manage a large infrastructure. If necessary and depending on your abilities, you may be asked to contribute to the global vulnerability management and patching of Unix servers. Profile What is required to obtain this position Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent work experience. Excellent communication skills Ability to analyze and understand a complex security configuration on a Unix operating system. Knowledge of Unix systems administration Experience working with cybersecurity analysts Knowledge of Unix script automation Additionally, it is a plus if you have: A minimum of 2 years in a development or system administration role. ITIL certification Experience with continuous improvements and automation.
