Job Description Key Tasks and Responsibilities Coach, train, and mentor all UG by collaborating to ensure the timely delivery of all mining deliverables. Development and timely implementation of relevant and up-to-date procedures to enable the safe delivery of job tasks for direct reports Train and support UG operators with their shift activities. (Jumbo, Bogging, Spraying Fibrecrete, Development Charging and all development activities) Ensure that training is provided to meet the current and future needs of the mine Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching to direct reports Working closely with our onsite planning and engineering team to meet and achieve optimal production targets Plan, coordinate and allocate resources (people & plant) to achieve monthly outputs. Ensuring safe mine operations by providing leadership to our teams to help them reach production and cost targets. Process efficiency should apply. Roles at this level are typically supervisors or junior professionals who are concerned with delivering results within established systems and with readily available support. Supervise others working within established operational systems Qualifications Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Mining/Civil) or related field preferred.
