About You
We are looking for someone who has a prior background in UK accounting. As a person, you must be someone who has a high level of personal maturity and a can-do attitude. As this work entails exposure to numbers day in and out, you must be motivated, methodical, and accurate. Excellent personal organisation and time management will go a long way.
About the Role
This position will be one of the leaders of a team in an important growth area for the business and will have the responsibility for delivering exceptional service.
Day to Day:
Build and maintain tax relationships with corporate clients and provide a high level of client service
Manage a client portfolio providing both corporate tax compliance and planning advice
Support tax partners on many and varied advisory projects including mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and complex investigations
Undertake tax due diligence exercises in conjunction with the firm's transaction support team.
Manage the successful delivery of tax service, ensuring technical excellence and a commercial approach.
Assisting with the management of the tax team workload and personnel.
Key Skills and Qualifications
CTA and ACCA/ACA qualified
Client driven and commercially aware
Experience managing staff an advantage
Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral
Enthusiastic and flexible attitude to work
Experience of working in a corporate tax team
