Objective: To provide telephone triage and health advice to callers across the United States remotely from the comfort of their own homes.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Communicating with patients, doctors and nurses over the phone, providing them with medical advice, and evaluating and assessing their symptoms.
Administering care via telehealth or online chat-based platform.
Entering data into the facility's database.
Recommending suitable treatment plans and consulting with physicians as needed.
Providing relevant medical and wellness education as needed.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Medicine.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Minimum 2-3 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse in areas such as ER/Urgent Care or Geriatrics preferred.
Advanced computer skills including typing speed, email, internet research, downloading and uploading files, and working in multiple browser windows.
Extremely comfortable using new technology and software.
Can work in a fast-paced environment with heavy telephone triage intake.
Strong critical thinking and customer service skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
