Job Summary:
 
The Travel Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing the daily operations of the travel sales department within the agency. This role ensures the achievement of sales targets, drives revenue growth, and maintains high standards of customer service. The supervisor will manage and coach a team of Travel Sales Advisors, monitor performance metrics, analyze sales data, and implement strategic initiatives aligned with current travel industry trends and market dynamics. The position requires strong leadership, analytical capability, and hands-on experience in travel sales operations.
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
1. Sales Strategy and Planning
Develop and implement effective sales strategies and action plans to achieve revenue and sales goals.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and stay ahead in the market.
Collaborate with the executive team to establish sales objectives, budgets, and forecasts.
2. Team Leadership and Management
Train and mentor a high-performing sales team that consistently meets or exceeds targets.
Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to sales representatives to improve their sales techniques and performance.
Set clear sales targets and individual goals for team members and evaluate their performance regularly.
3. Sales Execution
Lead by example and actively engage in hardcore sales activities, including prospecting, negotiations, and closing deals.
Maintain a hands-on approach to sales, stepping in to assist team members with challenging sales opportunities.
Drive the team to expand the customer base and build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
4. Sales Process Optimization
Continuously assess the effectiveness of sales processes and workflows, making improvements as needed.
Ensure the CRM system is properly utilized to track sales activities, monitor progress, and generate reports.
5. Sales Performance Analysis
Analyze sales data and metrics to identify areas of improvement and develop action plans to address them.
Prepare and present regular sales reports and performance updates to the executive team.
6. Cross-functional Collaboration
Collaborate with marketing, reservation, documentation, customer service.
7. Industry Awareness
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate challenges.
8. Productivity Report
Efficiently manage and prioritize daily tasks, ensuring timely completion and alignment with departmental goals.
Maintain a detailed record of tasks accomplished each day, categorizing them based on projects, initiatives, or ongoing responsibilities.
Regularly update the task tracking system or software with accurate and up-to-date information.
Collaborate with team members to gather input on completed tasks and ensure that accomplishments are accurately reflected.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field.
Minimum 3-4 years of experience as a Travel Sales Advisor or Travel Consultant.
At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership, coaching, and performance management skills.  
Excellent analytical, reporting, and problem- solving abilities.
Strong knowledge of travel industry trends and market dynamics.
Willing to be assigned at SM Seaside City Cebu.
Available to start ASAP.
