Your Role:
Travel & Expense Team Lead will supervise direct reports in performing day to day processing of Concur expense reports and ensure these are delivered in an efficient manner and completed in accordance with the Service Level Agreements (SLA). They plan and prepare specific tasks, contingencies and work schedules of employees ensuring coverage in key tasks of the team.
Key Accountabilities:
Review and generate Key Performance Indicators (KPI) reports and track team performance
Supervise the daily activities of support/service/operations teams. Tasks are characterized by low to medium complexity
May spend a portion of time performing the work supervised and provides direction to the team using extensive knowledge of established precedents and practices
Resolve escalated client complaints or queries and manages these to completion within turn-around time
Stand as liaison for all matters related to expense reimbursement between employees, payment team, service partners and the leadership team
Participate in and oversee month-end activities and ensure all reports are done accurately and submitted timely
Support the Travel & Expense team in their daily tasks through extensive background and experience working with Concur and other ERP systems
Spearhead and/or actively play a major part in continuous improvement projects,performing special or ad hoc assignments that may be assigned
Assists in the review, development and implementation of process improvements or amendments within key areas
Participates in and perform special tasks and projects that may be assigned
Advances discussions and builds consensus across the business and with external parties regarding own technical area
Takes a broader perspective on issues, conflicts and problems as it relates to the team in order to help identify patterns and links that will help in planning and recurrence avoidance
Capable in providing high quality reporting and advanced analytics to enable data driven decision making
Assist in the review, development and implementation of process improvements or amendments within key areas
Able to explain complex or even difficult/sensitive information to others and interacts across business areas
May contribute to financial or resource planning or policy implementation within the area
Demonstrates excellent communication skills, applying effective verbal & written communication in English and local language
Customer oriented and very good understanding and satisfying the requirements of the customer
Strong determination and self-motivation, impacts the effectiveness of own work team through quality and timeliness of services or information provided
Scope of People Responsibility
Be responsible for performance/results of own team by allocating work as a team leader and by monitoring progress, timeliness, completion and quality
Evaluate and later discuss the job performance of the team and conduct/arrange coaching and training when need
Address other performance or behavioral issues and seek appropriate corrective action.
Work with direct reports on career development make a positive impact on team morale, sense of belonging and participation
May provide needed informal skills training for team members.

Who You Are
A graduate background with professional experience. Non-graduate jobholders require a substantial amount of professional experience and additional qualifications that also provide exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts
Minimum of 4 years of experience in Travel & Expense Reimbursement functions with minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience for external hires and the completion of a Leadership Programs for internal hires
Strong background and experience working with Concur knowledge on SAP or other ERP system tools is preferable
Demonstrates advanced expertise and knowledge in Accounting and the Accounts Payable process
Proven experience effectively working with direct reports on career development and making a positive impact on team morale, sense of belonging and participation
Demonstrate strong leadership and behavioral skills --such as coaching, interview, strategic decision making, negotiation skills, etc.
Experience managing service level agreements/key performance indicators
Demonstrates strong expertise and knowledge in Accounting and the Accounts Payable process experience working with SAP, Oracle, Ariba or other ERP systems
Able to provide appropriate technical and inquiry support to internal customers or end users
Participated in and performed special/Adhoc tasks and projects, such as, but not limited to QA, process efficiency, automation, etc.
Has an experience working within a Shared Services Center or BPO environment is preferable. Able to provide appropriate technical and inquiry support to internal customers or end users
