Position Description: "We are looking for a Service Desk Transformation Digital Technical Architect to join CGI Philippines. You will work alongside the Transformation Director and Service Delivery Managers and report directly to Director of Consult Position Description: 'We are looking for a Service Desk Transformation Digital Technical Architect to join CGI Philippines. You will work alongside the Transformation Director and Service Delivery Managers and report directly to Director of Consulting Services. Your main tasks will include ensuring that all Service Desk accounts deliver excellence and be at the forefront of digital transformation. You will lead the definition and planning of the technology architectural roadmap to anticipate future business needs and maximize long-term technology investments. The architect will work with the digital teams to validate technology investment, ensure integration, and produce high-quality digital products to support the business strategy. This position will be expected to deeply understand the requirements to define a scalable architecture, to lead the analysis of new and emerging technologies, and to partner with senior leaders to investigate strategic opportunities.' Your future duties and responsibilities: . Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical expertise to application development teams across multiple projects. . Drive, in collaboration with CGI teams and vendors, the solutions architecture and oversees the implementation to guarantee scalable and high-quality solutions. . Drive pilots, proof of concept (POC), and value (e.g., optimizing solutions and costs) for multiple technical solutions across technology areas to prove the proposed architectural design. . Develop and maintain a comprehensive technical blueprint of the Service Desk digital ecosystem. . Develop and maintain the technology roadmap, collaborating with business and Digital partners. . Monitor the business capability landscape to identify opportunities for greater long-term business value. . Identify project opportunities to implement, monitor, and keep evolving the Service Desk solutions and processes. . Adapt methodology and applies governance to identify, communicate, and/or minimize business and/or technical risks. . Review and recommend the selection of third-party software platforms. Business development / presales and delivery . Experience in business development / presales and customer-facing roles and presenting complex topics tailored to specific audiences. . Collaborate and consult with our customer account and sales teams to identify, pursue and shape future business development opportunities providing valuable input to the teams' forward-looking industry-focused account plan for our strategic customers. . Lead complex opportunities to deliver scalable propositions that drive profitable business results and maximize business value. . Translate business value and outcomes into a scalable solution blueprint consisting of business and technology capabilities for inclusion in contracts and/or statements of work. Be able to reliably estimate the work in collaboration with our partners and offshore / nearshore teams. . As part of our delivery model, play a key role in engaging and leveraging our nearshore / offshore teams including important relationships with our other domains and solution areas, product teams, global teams and approved partners. . Align the governance of our solutions in our deliver models assisting or providing solution integrity oversight and decision making throughout the delivery lifecycle.' Demonstrate and apply your knowledge using frameworks, tools and techniques such as outcome chains, value models, three horizons roadmaps, customer journey maps, service design, design thinking / double diamond approaches and more. . Critical thinking and writing skills with excellent verbal communication in English. Additional languages are appreciated. . Able to communicate effectively with business, non-technical and technical audiences . Deep curiosity to understand others and their point of view with high emotional intelligence. . BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field . 5+ years of software design and development experience . 3+ years of technical architect and/or consulting, and cloud-based solution design experience . 3+ years of Cloud Applications (e.g. AWS, Azure) and Infrastructure experience . Effective leadership and negotiation skills required . Excellent analytical skills with a systematic and structured approach to software design . Strong verbal and written communication skills . DevOps experience is a plus . Agile experience is a plus . Experience in working with GIT, Terraform, Confluence, and JIRA is a plus .
