About the AVP L&D Role:
As a member of the Global Learning & Development team, you will focus on bringing personal development solutions to Grades 10-8 in Citco, known as Emerging Leaders. Reporting to the VP Program Lead, you will design, develop, deliver and evaluate identified priority learning solutions for this demographic in Citco.
You will contribute to the design and development of learning solutions for a global audience as well as partnering with internal business stakeholders and HR COE's (centers of excellence) to drive the performance of Emerging Leaders through learning programs, team interventions, coaching and training. You will contribute to the development and delivery lifecycle through to supporting transfer of learning and evaluation.
Additional to that, you are expected to promote a learning culture throughout the Citco organization and apply a best practice and continuous improvement approach to learning and development as well as focus on key priorities and achievement of service level targets. This is a permanent position in our L&D Emerging Leaders team.
AVP LD Job Duties in Brief:
Execute learning needs analysis, design and development in line with agreed best-practice standards and processes.
Proactively apply best practices to learning design, development & delivery to achieve excellence in output (Ecosystem & Culture).
Partner with team members and stakeholders to ensure the succesful launch/ engagement of the various L&D products.
Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and other learning activities for employees at various levels within the organization. Utilize a range of delivery methods, such as classroom training, e-learning, virtual sessions, and blended learning approaches, to accommodate different learning styles and preferences.
Continually evolve blended learning content and maximize the use of online tools, innovating and experimenting to create digital learning that is engaging and supports learner needs.
Provide guidance and expertise to managers and employees regarding Learning and development opportunities. Advise on individual development plans and recommend suitable training solutions or learning journeys to address specific performance gaps or career aspirations.
Design multi-model learning and performance support material, including blended classroom learning, interactive e-learning modules, videos & voice overs, animations and infographics.
Assess the effectiveness of learning programs using Kirkpatrick's four levels of evaluation, such as pre- and post-training assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms. Analyze data and identify areas for improvement to continuously enhance the quality and impact of training initiatives
Support a culture of coaching, empowering leaders to develop their team's performance on how to build high performing teams.
Provide regular reporting via Metrics and Data Governance using the MIS tools and software used within the organization.
Clearly communicate the value and benefits of L&D initiatives to employees and stakeholders.
Develop a consistent and compelling communication strategy for L&D initiatives and utilizing internal marketing and communication channels.
About You:
Demonstrable experience of building virtual learner support models to include group coaching and social learning.
Demonstrable experience in leadership coaching, professional development and stakeholder management.
Experience in facilitating Best in Class learning programs both in person and virtually.
Understand the complex organizational dynamics in which a team operates.
Create impactful communications to support learning development initiatives.
Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and influencing skills.
Working in a global team you should be a self-starter and comfortable working independently but also able to collaborate on projects with team members in other locations.
Demonstrating current up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and new methodologies in L&D.
Holds relevant certifications in relation to L&D.
Strive to deliver a consistent and high-quality learning experience across different L&D programs and initiatives
Additonally
Experience with LinkedIn Learning, which includes curating relevant content and engaging learning communities with content is desirable.
Experience using Articulate 360, Vyond, CANVA to design and develop online learning content is desirable.
Experience using Video Learning Products would be an advantage.
