Description
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES :
1. Identifies training and development needs within an organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultations with the Chief Nurse, QMS, and HRD.
2. Designs and Expands training and development programs based on the needs of the organization and the individual;
3. Works in a team to produce programs that are satisfactory to all nursing staff in the organization.
4. Provides the cost of planned programs and keeping within budgets as assessing the return on investment of any training or development programs.
5. Develops effective induction and immersion program to all newly hired nurses.
6. Conducts appraisals of performance.
7. Devise individual learning plans;
8. Produces training materials for in-house courses, lectures, and seminars.
9. Manages the delivery of training and development programs and, in a more senior role, devising a training strategy for the organization;
10. Monitors and reviews the progress of trainees through questionnaires and discussions with managers;
11. Ensures that statutory training requirements are met;
12. Evaluates training and development programs of its effectiveness.
13. Amends and revise programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment;
14. Helps unit heads solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups;
15. Keeps up to date with developments in training by reading relevant journals, going to meetings and attending relevant seminars, lectures, and/or conventions.
16. Have an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, being involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages;
17. Researches new technologies and methodologies in workplace learning and presenting this researches that are applicable to the organization.
GENERAL JOB QUALIFICATIONS :
Education : Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Must be a license Nurse,
Graduate of MAN
Experience/Training : 2-3 years of training
Knowledge/Skills/Attitude : Can handle pressure; with strong moral & spiritual values; can relate well in all levels of the organization; honest & trustworthy; familiar with ultrasound machine and knowledgeable with medical terminologists.
