This includes integration with complex downstream financial application using WebServices and MQ messaging services Your future duties and responsibilities: . Designing, building, installing and maintaining and highly scalable Java applications in an UNIX environments. . Perform the installation & upgrade of Apache, TOMCAT, and Integration with MQ in an UNIX based environment . Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the applications through Environment configuration . Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems . Deliver a high level of commitment to client success and provide timely and quality services that meet or exceed expectations . Work with client and support groups along with business partners to provide guidance and support in the deployment of complex application solutions Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Education: . Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, an engineering discipline, or a related field Qualifications: . System admin with expertise on TOMCAT application server and UNIX. Knowledge of WebLogic/WebSphere . Expert knowledge of design patterns and best practices . Knowledge installing enterprise class web applications . Experience of integration using web services in Java . Experience in MQ Series, Jira, Bitbucket, Confluence . Excellent understanding of developer life cycle and enterprise developer tools. . Strong debugging and problem solving skills . Deep experience in AGILE development, SCRUM and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)) . Knowledge of Application server such as WebSphere/WebLogic is an added advantage .
