We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Timekeeping and Payroll Specialist to join our Accounting and Finance team. The Timekeeping and Payroll Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee time and payroll records. This position requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of payroll regulations, and exceptional attention to detail.
This is a full-time role, on a night shift and work onsite set-up.
Major Responsibilities & Duties:
1. Timekeeping and Attendance
Manage and maintain employee time and attendance records.
Review and logs (timesheets), and attendance data for accuracy
Address any discrepancies or issues related to employee time records.
2. Payroll Processing
Process payroll depending on the companys pay schedule
Calculate employee wages, overtime, deductions and other payroll related data.
Ensure compliance with local payroll regulations and tax laws
3. Payroll Reporting
Generate payroll reports for management, accounting and auditing purposes
Prepare year end reports including 2316 and other required tax documents
Do bill entries per employee
4. Compliance an Auditing
Stay current with changes in payroll laws ad regulations.
Assist in payroll audits and provide assistance regarding payroll related matters
Monthly preparation of financial statements schedules
5. Customer Service
Respond to employee inquiries and provide assistance regarding payroll related matters
Maintain a high level of confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
6. Client Related Task
Assist in the salary details preparation
Assist in the invoicing process
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in any Accounting Related course
With 2 to 3 years experience in related field.
Proven Experience as a Payroll Specialists, Timekeeping Specialist of similar role.
Knowledge of payroll software and systems (Payruler, QBO)
Strong understanding of payroll and Philippine tax regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with acute attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
