Job Description
Perform TIG welding to join, fabricate, or repair metal parts.
Work with materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and other alloys.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
Set up welding machines and adjust settings for optimal performance.
Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet specifications and standards.
Test welds for durability and accuracy, using various tools and methods.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
With at least 3 years working experience working in a refinery or similar industrial settings.
Should have proven experience in TIG welding, specifically with thin-wall pipes (2mm thickness) in carbon and stainless steel.
Should have the ability to produce high quality welds suitable for Xray testing.
TESDA NCII Certificate or TradeTestCertificateinTIG/GTAWWelding.
Must be familiar with safety standards and welding codes (e.g. ASME, AWS or equivalent).
Must be flexible to work in different environments, including work shops and industrial facilities.
Must be physically fit to handle the demands of welding work.
Must be competent in the operation of welding equipment safely and efficiently in various work environments including workshops and industrial project sites (e.g. refineries).
Competent in following project specifications, engineering drawings and industry standards for welding.
Excellent English communication skills is a must both written C verbal for effective interaction with the team and documentation
Adheres strictly to company safety protocols and wear required personal protective equipment(PPE).
