Job Description:
Creates quality welds according to detailed plans. Ensures that quality products being worked on, including grinding and alignment.
Interprets blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts.
Welds small and large machinery for industrial welding and oversees machines that perform the same job.
Able to perform basic preventive maintenance of equipment and tools.
Assesses welded surfaces, structures, and components to identify errors.
Follows and enforces strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.
Monitors machinery for appropriate usage and temperature.
Welds components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
Performs other duties as maybe required
Qualifications:
Minimum of one (1) year experience as a TIG Welder.
A high school diploma or equivalent qualification and a valid certificate in welding from an accredited institution are preferred.
Must possess NCII Certifications accredited by TESDA.
Excellent knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, and manual tools.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and designs.
Willing to be assigned in Toledo City.
