Threat Intelligence Analyst
Job Description Summary:
A Threat Intelligence Analyst overall responsibility is to research, analyze, and respond to potential threats to the organization. This could include communicating information about a threat to relevant stakeholders, using available security tools to hunt for the presence of an identified threat, and responding to notifications regarding threats specific to Global Payments' brands and properties.
Responsibilities:
-Research potential threats to the organization and the financial industry as a whole
-Create Threat Bulletins that detail threats to the organization and provide information and recommendations relevant to other technical teams
-Utilize threat intelligence to hunt for presence of the threat on organizational assets
-Additional actions as needed
Qualifications:
-Bachelors in Computer or Software Engineering, Network or System Administration, or similar technical fields preferred
-3+ years of experience in information security or information technology roles
-In-depth knowledge of networking concepts and protocols
-Familiarity with common attacker methods and tools
-Ability to communicate complex technical topics to a mixed audience
