The Role As a Test Senior Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for upskilling and mentoring test automation engineers when creating, updating, and maintaining automation scripts in the current and new systems in the bank. You are expected to provide solutions to scripting limitations and continuously enhance the existing framework. You are expected to be flexible enough to create an automation framework on different platforms web and API. You will advocate software testing best practices throughout the test cycles regardless of methodologies. And you will be providing guidance to engineers assigned to different projects. How you'll contribute Design, create, and refactor automation scripts in both API and Web platforms using Selenium, REST Assured JAVA libraries. Troubleshoot pipeline for continuous testing and enhance the existing automation framework. Consolidate the team's testing progress and provide analysis of defective areas of the system under test. Estimate, plan, prioritize and coordinate test execution cycles to stakeholders. Review requirements, and manual test cases, and streamline end-to-end test cases when developing automated test cases. Mentor the test automation engineers within the team. What we're looking for Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology & Software Technology, Software Engineering, or related courses. With at least 5 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance, and Software Test Automation. Preferably Certified Tester - ISTQB Foundation Level Understands SDLC and STLC Problem-solving skills - Applying solutions to test framework. Experience in JAVA or other programming languages using Selenium library and RESTAssured Knowledgeable in CI/CD tools and processes i.e. Jenkins and Git Proficiency with Postman, Docker, SQL, Git version control Familiar with Agile Scrum framework, Kanban, and Waterfall methodologies Strong communication skills and collaboration with the product team, QA team, and developers Preferably, with manual testing experience.
