About the role
Senior Test Product Engineer is a position that acts as primary test product expert for final test supporting the Teamquest for IST and Burn-in, as well as the Nexperia TPE for ASE SOT1210 products. Majority of the tasks and responsibilities of the Test Product Engineer are directly and indirectly to support ATCB objectives of Output, Quality and Cost as well as the Business line. Disposition of non-conforming lots, yield improvement, test program changes and support for customer complaints.
What you will do
Final Test Product Engineer support product being assembled and tested in subcontractor
Provides disposition and/ or aligns with BG Product engineering on identified lots with Test-detected fab and parametric issues
Monitors and flags BG for any critical or chronic Fab related issues
Fan-out effective statistical methods at Test (PAT, SYL, SBL) to identify and detect maverick lots
Review of test data analysis of evaluation, qualification and safe launch lots to help ensure that any changes does not compromise the product electrical performance
Implement BG related quality firewall for Final Test (new test methods, screens, etc)
Review and monitor yield of devices tested at subcon
Responsible for all Test Program changes with alignment of BG before deployment to subcon
Key reviewer and approver for Test capacity improvement activities
Burn-in Technical support at service provider
Non-conforming lots disposition
Yield reporting and improvement for Burn-in test
Review and approval of test data for subsequent burn-in boards and oven qualification.
IST (Inductive Switch Testing ) bench testing support at service provider
Inventory, coordination and monitoring of IST boards for repair
IST Technical support (first level troubleshooting c/o subcon)
Non-conforming lot disposition
Yield Reporting and improvement for IST test
Monitoring of annual calibration of equipment
What you will need
The incumbent must have the following:
1. Self-driven and can formulate improvement actions with less guidance and supervision.
2. Experience on dispositions and referrals of non-conforming lots
3. Fast learner of above average aptitude, with initiative and willingness to learn and explore new ideas.
4. Strong problem-solving, critical judgment, conceptualization, and research skills
5. Knowledgeable in Statistical tools application (Spotfire, Minitab, Pareto, SPC charts, DOE, MSA)
6. Strong in Electronics and Mechanical aptitude.
7. Attention to details and good reporting skills
8. Collaborative and knows how to successfully influence others, good communicator, leading effective meetings
A. Work Experience:
At least 10 years' experience working in Semiconductor company under Test Product, Test Equipment, Burn-in or Test Process Engineering
Knowledgeable with semiconductor assembly and test process, including Burn-in
Experience dealing with sub-contractors is an advantage
B. Education/Field of Study
Graduate in Engineering Course (ECE, Comp Engg, EE, ME) or other related courses
Strong electronic fundamentals
C. Professional Requirements/Skills:
Experienced on FMEA, Risk assessment, Customer complaint handling (8D, QC Tools).
Experienced on Project Management
D. Knowledge of specific tools
Experience on data analysis including advance tools (JMP, Minitab, Spotfire)
Experience on LabView is a good advantage
