We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Test Engineer to join our team. As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and extensibility of the code delivered by our development team. You will play a critical role in developing and implementing automated tests, as well as designing test harnesses for all code produced. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coding, experience with .NET applications, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
 
·Develop and implement automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of code produced by the development team
 
·Design and develop test harnesses for all code delivered, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and extensibility
 
· Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and design appropriate test strategies
 
·Lead the design of automated tests, selecting appropriate testing frameworks and tools, and developing test scripts
 
·Execute and analyze automated test results, identifying defects and working closely with the development team to resolve them
 
·Continuously improve test processes and methodologies, incorporating best practices and industry standards
 
·Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless integration and deployment of software releases
 
·Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in software testing, and recommend suitable tools and frameworks for test automation
 
·Actively participate in code reviews and provide input on code quality and testability
 
Requirements:
 
·Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
 
·Solid experience in software testing, with a focus on automated testing and test automation frameworks
 
·Strong coding skills, with proficiency in .NET development and related technologies
 
·Knowledge of Azure DevOps build and release pipelines
 
·Experience in designing and implementing test harnesses for complex software systems
 
·Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, test management tools, and defect-tracking systems
 
·Familiarity with testing frameWorks and tools (e.g., NUnit, Selenium, SpecFlow).
·        Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
 
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
 
·Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks, as well as work collaboratively in a team environment
 
·Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
 
Reporting Relationship: The Test Engineer will report directly to the Director of Technology.
