Specific Duties: * Assists in the testing of software changes and verifies the software is functioning as intended. * Contributes to gathering user feedback and helps development teams ensure changes are meeting user requirements. * Assists Specific Duties: Assists in the testing of software changes and verifies the software is functioning as intended. Contributes to gathering user feedback and helps development teams ensure changes are meeting user requirements. Assists in the creation of documentation of software and procedures. Participates in development meetings in order to help define requirements and formulate test plans for issues under development. Participates in user group meetings and serves as a user advocate inside of the development teams. Keeps current with technology, workplace innovation and obtains relevant training that support job functions. Performs such other relevant duties as may be assigned by the Project Manager. Effectively tests the software both by creating automated tests and performing manual testing. Keeps software defect rates low and user satisfaction high. Qualifications: A minimum of an associate degree in a technology related field or equivalent experience. 1 -3 years' experience preferred Experience developing unit, integration and functional tests. Knowledge and experience with the Python programming language is preferred. Experience working closely with software developers to verify functionality is being implemented per specifications.
