We are seeking a TerrestrialEcologist to work on projects for a range of public and private sector clients, undertaking impact and risk assessments, ecological monitoring and conservation-based projects Specific responsibilities will include: Undertaking surveys and searches of ecological databases and preparing ecological assessments. Preparing technical reports to support applied conservation survey and monitoring projects, planning permit applications, referrals and environmental assessments. Developing a project brief clearly defining the scope of works, deliverables, project team, program and fee structure based on client's needs. Making technical decisions and providing solutions based on your scientific/ecological expertise, experience and involvement of team members, Team Leader and other specialists as required. Performing delegated tasks as directed and following instructions, methods and procedures. Coordinating and monitoring specific team tasks when requested. Delegating occasional work requirements to team members and monitoring progress and ensuring desired outcomes are delivered on time. Adhering to safety procedures. For success in this position, you will possess the following skills and qualifications: Bachelor's degree qualifications inwildlife biology, forestry, ecology or similar discipline. Honours or postgraduate qualifications are highly regarded. Minimum 1year experience working as aterrestrial ecologist or wildlife specialist. Consulting experience is desirable but not essential Proven experience in proposal development and project management is desirable. Applicants must have working rights in the Philippines.
