A Telecom Analyst is a member of Security Operations Center (SOC) platform support team for Enterprise Customer Care, our managed security services practice. In addition to possessing deep technical knowledge, a Telecom Analyst interacts extensively with customers and partners using polite professional etiquette.
The Telecom Analyst is will report to the Supervisor, SOC and is expected to perform the following duties:
Assists in the procurement of telecom services beyond customer premise locations.
Manage ISP Upgrades, Renewals and decommission requests.
Assists in the processing of telecom invoices and reconciliation.
Provides information to internal departments with regards to circuits and Back Up Cellular information (i.e., circuit IDs, account numbers, etc.)
Attend to any responses from vendors and provide on-going support to the Operations team to help resolve issues on behalf of the customer with the vendor.
Responsible for activation and deactivation of customer's Back Up Cellular
Process Back Up Cellular overage, dispute, and waivers
QUALIFICATIONS:
1+ years of experience working in a Telecom Analyst role.
1+ years of experience in one or more areas of business, IT, and ISP
2-3 years Contact Center experience supporting Telecommunications and ISP accounts
Good organizational, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skills.
Experience with ticket or service management systems
Background in project management and workload prioritization
Demonstrate written and verbal communication competence
Proficiency in MS Office and Power BI
Education:
We prefer college-educated applicants, but at minimum, high school diploma or equivalent is required for employment.
