The analysis may entail characterization and testing of the devices, chemical deprocessing, metallurgical micr Job Description Perform detailed electrical and physical analysis on semiconductors under the direction of Product Analysis Engineers. The analysis may entail characterization and testing of the devices, chemical deprocessing, metallurgical microsectioning, light and scanning electron microscopy , and macro and microphotography. Display an understanding of basic failure modes, mechanisms and semiconductor processing and manufacturing. Detailed documentation and writing of technical reports required. Generates weekly and daily report. Participates in company initiated and plant wide activities. Formulates/updates specifications relative to Product Analysis processes for continuous improvement. Qualifications Graduate of technical copurse. Fundamental knowledge of failure analysis equipment ( Optical microscope , SAM , SEM , Micro section polisher , RIE , bench test equipment such as Power supplies, parameter analyzer and curve tracer). Good communication skills and technical report writing. Knowledgeable of laboratory safety. Knowledgeable of ESD requirements
