Job Description
Perform detailed electrical and physical analysis on semiconductors under the direction of Product Analysis Engineers. The analysis may entail characterization and testing of the samples, chemical deprocessing, micro-sectioning, light and scanning electron microscopy, and other applicable failure analysis techniques.
Detailed documentation and writing of technical reports as necessary.
Formulate/update specifications relative to Product Analysis Laboratory processes for continuous improvement as necessary.
Assist for the technical support/services to both internal and external customers for non-destructive and destructive tests.
Assist the engineer in the development or enhancements of process capabilities in the laboratory.
Help to monitor the consumables/spare parts in the assigned station and assist for the withdrawal/disposal of FA related items that are used in FA operation.
Conduct daily 5S in the assigned station and participates in the weekly audit at the PAL area.
Ensure compliance to the company policies & standards, Global standardization, and the best practices in the Laboratory.
Qualifications
Graduate of any Technical/Engineering course
Preferably at least 2 yrs. experience in semiconductor manufacturing process
Possess analytical and problem-solving skills
Hands-on experience in SEM/EDX, SAT, X-ray, Decap, Cross-sectioning, Curve Tracer and other failure analysis equipment is an advantage
Has good communication skillsand technical report writing.
Knowledgeable of laboratory safety, 5S andESD requirements.
