TECHNICAL WRITER
Job Summary:
The Technical Writer is responsible for creating comprehensive technical contents for document and graphic templates across various products, including documents, spreadsheets, presentations, AI tools, blogs, and more. The successful candidate will have a firm understanding of technical writing, user interface documentation, and the ability to leverage AI technology like ChatGPT for content creation.
Responsibilities:
Create, edit, and format technical and non-technical contents into clear, concise, and readable documents and graphic templates.
Use OpenAI's ChatGPT for drafting, reviewing, and editing content to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Collaborates with the Production and Quality Team to ensure that the output/work aligns with overall business objectives.
Review, revise, and maintain existing product contents to reflect product updates and enhancements.
Research and gather technical and background information for inclusion in project documentation and deliverables.
Collaborate with the project teams to define and meet project timelines and deliverables.
Understand and adhere to company policies and quality standards.
Actively seek and promote continuous improvement in technical writing processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical writing, preferably in software documentation.
Proficient in utilizing the best practices in prompt engineering using AI tools such as ChatGPT for content creation.
Excellent written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Experience with various documentation tools (like MS Office, Google Suite, Adobe Suite)
Ability to understand complex technical information and translate it into simple, clear, and engaging content.
Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience in Content Management System is a plus.
Familiarity with design tools for creating graphical content is a plus.
Knowledge of SEO and web content best practices is an advantage.
Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
