1.1 Purpose
Technical writers use both words and visual aids to explain difficult concepts, often to nontechnical audiences. Work products for technical writers include instruction manuals, process documentation, etc. Whether they support internal or external customers, technical writers' ultimate goal is to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner.
1.3 Key Accountabilities
The key accountabilities of this role are: Key Accountabilities
Work and assist in creating, editing, and reviewing comprehensive technical documents such as user guides, online help, in-app documents, and technical specifications.
Coordinate with Software Developers to obtain an in-depth understanding of the platform, its features and updates.
Analyse the information elicited to create accurate and reliable material that can be understood by technical and non-technical users.
Help review and maintain technical documents to ensure its consistency and alignment with the latest version of the platform.
1.5 Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Foundation knowledge, skills, experience and qualifications Essential or Desirable
BS in computer science, engineering or IT relevant field.

At least I year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experienced Employees specializing in IT/Computer - Network/System/Database Admin or equivalent.

Creates technical documentations, user manual, online help, quick references for systems applications.

Conducts research (eg. study existing documentation and the profiles of target audience of the documentation and the profiles of target audience of the documentation), elicit Information from Business Analysts, System Designers and developers and subject-matter-experts in order to produce comprehensive documentations

Proficient in both technical and writing skills

Exposure and familiar with systems development life cycle and terminologies

Documented at least 2 medium to large scale project on computer applications

Strong working self-project management skill and a Team Player
