JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for preparing, conducting, and evaluating technical training programs.
Writes materials to be used in programs and exercises to enhance lectures.
Conducts classes regarding programming / application development, configuration, security, maintenance, and other best practices of software development.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare and conduct technical training programs onsite/classroom or online/webinars.
Conducts evaluation and assessment of the trainees.
Prepare and create instructor materials (course outlines, background material, instructional materials, and training aids) and agenda.
Assess the participation, performance, and focus of trainees through tests, projects, and reports.
Assess training needs and certification requirements.
Conducts research on software development technology stacks, technologies, techniques, application design, etc.
Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills.
Mentor other instructors in the subject matter, content, and course delivery techniques for assigned technical courses.
Evaluate, determine, and recommend sustainable to ensure quality of training.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 1-2 years combined experience as developer and/or instructor
Experience with software / web / mobile development
Knowledge of architecture and design patterns, object-oriented design principles, security, and best practices
Knowledge on any of the following technologies:
PHP/Laravel, SQL, API and integration
JavaScript: React, Vue.js, Node, Express
Mobile / framework: React Native, Ionic, Android SDK/NDK, iOS/Swift
Database: MySQL / MariaDB / Percona, MS SQL, Postgres, Oracle
NoSQL: MongoDB, DynamoDB, others
Version Control: Git, GitFlow
Willing to explore new technologies and other areas of expertise
Understanding of modern web applications from database to browser
Ability to adapt quickly to new complex environment and learn technologies
Experience in large scale web / mobile project is a plus
Outstanding communication skills and comfortable speaking to crowds
Prepare a demo on any of the topics mentioned above
