Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop Skills Assessment Training modules and calendar for selected candidates in Automotive Industry (Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic, Heavy Commercial Mechanic, Light Vehicle Mechanic, etc.) and Manufacturing/Engineering Industry (Metal Fabricators, Welders, Metal Machinist, Sheetmetal Workers)
- Conduct pre-assessment of selected candidates
- Identify training needs of selected candidates
- Prepare review plan for each candidate, coordinate with Candidate Processing Team candidates' schedule or groupings
- Administer individualized review and refresher course program for each candidate or group of candidates
- Ensure close communication and monitoring of assigned candidates; provide individual advice and/or instruction to candidates when necessary
- Evaluate candidates progress and recommend candidates' readiness to take Skills Assessment
- Debrief candidates after TRA assessment to gain knowledge of the questions asked,
answers were given and any other information that may be useful for candidates yet to be assessed
- Update strategies and methods in teaching by attending seminars and training
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any English, Communication, Education, Automotive or Technical course
- Has at least 3 years of experience in Training and Development, Skills Upscaling, Technical Teaching
- Thorough knowledge of intricate automotive systems, advanced automotive systems diagnostic skills, and preferably some knowledge of welding and machining
- Certified TESDA Training Methodology holder is an advantage but not essential
- National TVET Trainer Certificate is an advantage but not essential
- Proficient in MS Office Applications and online communication platform
- Energetic, team player, and good English communicator
- Can demonstrate flexibility and patience in handling reviewees
- Willing to work in Makati
