Job Responsibilities:
Are responsible for providing technical support to users of the computer network systems and services of the company. Users are our employees that have a designated desktop computer or laptop. They range from Engineer and Staff level up to Top Management.
Technical Support Engineers/Staff troubleshoot either software, network, or hardware issues within the company. And due to an acceleration of plans, experience in web development is highly preferred.
Being accommodating and supportive is needed (amiable personality, patient, good communication)
Job Qualification:
Education: Graduates of Information Technology (with strong interest in Network Administration), or Computer Science is preferred. We may also consider BS in Computer or Electronics Engineering.
Work Experience: If with related experience in the IT department of a manufacturing firm - an advantage
Systems: Familiar with computer systems, TCP/IP networking, and Microsoft systems and applications, solid knowledge of IP concepts, computer troubleshooting (hardware and software), and programming knowledge, (additional: Web Development)
Work Location: Willing to work in CLARKFIELD, PAMPANGA (near the Medical City Clark and Polymer Link). Transportation is through company bus, the red jeep, or own vehicle
Microsoft: Proficient with using Excel, Word, and Powerpoint
Work Culture: Comfortable working with Japanese and Filipino people
Language: English and Tagalog (and local dialect, Kapampangan, if able)
Soft skills: Strong Analytical and logical judgement with good communication skills; patient and has an amiable personality (sociable);
Work Schedule: Mondays to Fridays | Saturday work is considered paid overtime (OT on a Rest Day); may work on holidays, if needed only, especially during routine maintenance
Other Considerations: Basic troubleshooting on a daily basis for company end users; has strong ethics about information security and confidentiality; monitoring of hundreds of PCs, web development and monitoring and improvement of our various systems
