Job Summary: As a Technical Services Engineer - Performance, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our aircraft fleet. You will be responsible for providing technical support and expertise to our maintenance and engineering teams, overseeing maintenance programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. With your keen eye for detail and passion for aviation, you will contribute to the safety, reliability, and performance of our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide technical guidance and support to the maintenance and engineering teams in troubleshooting and resolving aircraft-related issues.
Undertake engineering activities on aircraft performance and limitations and provide technical support pertaining to the area.
Oversee the implementation of maintenance programs and ensure compliance with AirAsia's standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to enhance aircraft performance and reliability.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to optimize aircraft maintenance processes, minimize downtime, and improve operational efficiency.
Analyze aircraft maintenance data and trends to identify recurring issues and propose preventive measures to mitigate risks.
Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures, manuals, and training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the technical team.
Stay updated on the latest industry developments, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement in aircraft maintenance practices.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering
Must be a Licensed Aeronautical Engineer
At least 3-5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance and engineering, preferably in the aviation industry.
Perform airport and route analysis when required.
ResponsibleforthedevelopmentofMinimum Equipment List (MEL), Weight and Balance Schedule, Trim Chart, and Flight Test Schedule (FTS).
Strong knowledge of aircraft systems, components, and maintenance practices.
Familiarity with aviation regulations, including those set by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) and other relevant regulatory bodies.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Willingness to travel occasionally to support operational requirements.
