The Technical Reconciliation Analyst is primary responsible in investigating and resolving breaks within Manulife Investment Operations key reconciliations. This will span reconciliations between Investment Book of Records vs Accounting Books of Record as well as custodian cash, position/holdings as well as valuation statements and both internal and external data providers. The Analyst will focus both on transaction level breaks as well as analyze trends and root causes that may involve market practice, system behavior, reference and static data as well as transaction and trade flows. Curious, self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. Excellent communicator who can tailor-fit approach to different audiences Excellent comprehension, analytical and decision-making skills Strong influencing skills with ability to make sound recommendations Applicants should be willing to report at rotating shift Applicants should be willing to report at Quezon City, Philippines On the job you will: Maintain accurate and timely delivery of reconciliations production and investigation of breaks. Maintain Key Risk indicators and Key Performance Indicator databases and generate insights on trends and recommend solutions by working with Investment Operations teams as well as business support teams. Ensure closure of material breaks on key business cycles such as month-end book close, quarterly reporting, etc. Maintain, challenge and improve reconciliation processes with focus on matching rates, matching criteria, vendor performance and service levels. Connect with Investment Operations teams to ensure visibility on systemic issues, workarounds, downtimes that may impact reconciliations.
