Role Purpose
The primary role of the Associate Program & Project Management Office (PMO) Generalist is to apply effective PMO control to support successful project delivery. The Associate PMO Generalist will apply PMO resource management alongside a consistent set of PPM methods and processes.
Main Tasks
Gain understanding of project's goal and establish project plan which includes estimation, scheduling and project management guideline
Manage a project successfully based on the project plan & be responsible for the quality, cost and delivery
Conduct Furikaeri during closing phase for the improvement of the team/members and provide feedback for the organization
Key Accountabilities
Provides the day-to-day support across all PMO services aligned to the current assignment or business area
Provides advice and guidance regards all aspects of the PMO service to the project or program team and peer level contacts within the customer organization
Attends and contributes to regular meetings with other specialist areas such as subject champions and brings knowledge to their assignment
Controls and monitors any potential problems within any of the PMO services and escalates issues to the appropriate Project or Program team members
Ensures own objectives are aligned to the Project or Program objectives
Actively supports the Program or Project in order to comply with any associated policies
Adheres to the maintenance of the Portfolio Management Office Best Practice standards
Preparation and maintenance of the Project Plan, Project budget, and timeline
Acquisition, assignment and ongoing management of Project resources
Management of the day-to-day Project activities and ensuring all activities are progressing as per Plan

Conformance to relevant policy and procedure documentation
Internal Project / Program & Portfolio Management Office Service Survey scores
Adherence to Project / Program & Portfolio Management Office Key Performance Indicators
Effective management of the assigned budget (forecast vs actual)

Experience
Minimum of 8 years of experience or as required by client
Preferably with experience in application development (Requirements, Design, Programming, Testing)
Preferably has handled Japanese clients
Technical background (Java, Python, COBOL, Spring, C#, .Net, iOS, Android, etc.) is an advantage.
Knowledge in Agile (optional)
