Responsibilities:
• Performs job functions consistent with the corporate vision and mission statements and the core values of the company.
• Liaises with the sales team during the pre-sales process.
• Develops and configures pre-sales presentation and demonstration kits relating to the designated product to which assigned.
• Undertakes presentations on software products and services and how they interact with third party technologies.
• Acts as lead person for the project management of all pre-sales technical activities and in situations requiring client contact. Provides technical support to customers, partners and resellers at the pre-sales phase. Responds to clients' inquiries and requests and provides responsive solutions during the pre-sales phase.
• Performs product testing and provides feedback on issues surfaced to the team.
• Performs on-site and off-site pre-sales consultancy in response to customer requirements by assessing customer's business problems and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Documents proposed solution and articulate its business value to customers when complex problems require unorthodox thinking.
• Achieves related technical certification required for the performance of one's functions. Updates technical
knowledge and undergoes learning sessions on new products and feature sets.
• Coordinates with the different units/offices for business process assessment and requirements.
• Provides off-site and on-site technical support to clients as well as project status updates to clients and to the company's management and sales force.
• Undertakes pre-and post-training preparation in relation to logistical requirements and assists in program delivery.
• Performs ocular inspections and documentation of existing hardware/network infrastructure; undertakes
documentation of inspection findings and submits the corresponding recommendations.
• Installs operating systems and applications as required by clients and as approved by management; installs and removes peripherals as required for upgrades or downgrades during the pre-sales stage.
• Participates in meetings and conferences between the sales force and the key representatives of named accounts to identify technical requirements.
• Undertakes site visits to carry out pre-sales demonstrations and presentations with the sales team.
• Participates in the generation of ideas and strategies for the development of marketable services and solutions at the pre-sales period; Initiates indigenization of existing systems for the local and company-specific application.
• Prepares weekly planner on activities to be undertaken and prepares reports on actual results, outputs and accomplishments based on plans at the end of the week; consolidates accomplishment reports into monthly performance reports.
• Submits to superior officers periodic reports on the operations and activities of the work unit with corresponding analysis and recommendations.
• Participates in collegial planning for policies, procedures and systems, problem-solving, decision making and performance monitoring through participation in standing and ad hoc committees, task forces, and project teams.
• Provides training and development interventions in the form of on-the-job training and mentoring or the facilitation of formal learning sessions.
• Participates in various corporate programs and activities; attends training programs and learning sessions for the enhancement of professional, technical, and personal proficiencies.
• Performs such other duties and responsibilities analogous, germane or related to and/or implied from the above enumeration of duties and responsibilities.
Qualifications:
• Completion of a bachelor's degree in computer science or any baccalaureate program in information technology.
